Very nice place to stay.

Overall it was okay. I would go back just for the location to the boat ramp. No breakfast, bar had no A/C while we where there.

Disappointing One-Night Stay at La Quinta Morgantown, WV Great location, but housekeeping was seriously lacking. Check-in was easy and the front desk clerk was courteous. Unfortunately, things went downhill once we entered the room. There was an unpleasant odor, and the previous guests had left their leftovers in the fridge. The shower had pink slime buildup between the wall and the shower floor. The sheets were dingy, thin, and had holes in them, while the quilt was stained. With new linens and improved housekeeping standards, this could be a nice place to stay. As it stands, we were very disappointed.

We loved the way they preserved some of the old aesthetics with the new. Such a beautiful hotel. The restaurant was wonderful. We had filets, potato puree as well as the bacon mac and cheese. We especially enjoyed talking with the gal working the front desk. She was so friendly and knew alot about the area. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. She was working the evening of 7/8 and 7/9. We loved the breakfast presentation across the bar area. Such a cozy atmosphere.
