Great place to stay when flying in/out of Boston

When we drove in, we were a little unsure of the area, as there the area around the hotel had a lot of trash, appeared run-down. But a quick walk around the corner and you're in a beautiful, lively area with great restaurants, shops and the river. The shuttle service to the airport was exceptional.

The room was in good condition and the sheets were clean. I was disappointed in the shower. There was hair in the shower and on the shower curtain from the previous stay and I could tell it wasn’t clean. Also, that place could use some updates. The elevator is so old, it was squeaky and made me nervous to use it. If I’m paying $300 for a night, I expect a better environment and better quality. I would not stay there again.

The location was great, as it was a short distance from the train to downtown. The hotel was clean, but it was in need of some updating. The breakfast was decent, and the staff was friendly.

Both elliptical machines down, one treadmill incline did'nt work, other treadmill incline worked but not the speed, they ran out of both coffees at breakfast, bathroom sink faucet hot/cold were reversed, and had to wait over 5 min for someone to show up to check in. For the price I didn't expect 5 star across the board, but better than this....

The beds were comfortable and clean if you could get past the moldy cat pee smell in the hall and only slightly better in the room , bathroom clean , just very old property
