Four week trip to see our American friends

Best shower ever, wonderfully comfortable bed. The only disappointment was breakfast for me as I need fruit, oats, and yogurt with proper English tea and skim milk but they did their best. My husband enjoyed American breakfast though. Staff amazing.

Beautiful old hotel with lots of character, lovingly restored. The rooms were very clean, but needed a little more attention to dusting. The staff were great. Lunch in the Parker restaurant was excellent, wish they were also open for dinner. My only complaint is the bathrooms. They are beautifully renovated, but totally impractical!

Cool historic hotel down town, place was clean and staff was friendly and attentive. The floor I stayed in received a recent remodel. While it looked great, there where a few design issues that where a bit unfortunate. The rooms are small/ tight which is to be expected. But for some reason they choose to put a larger shower and vanity in the bathroom leaving inadequate space for the toilet. I am not a huge guy, but i had one should touching the wall and the other on the vanity when trying to use it. If you have any mobility issues this might be a problem.Completing the process required on the toilet made me feel like a bit of a contortionist. Adding to that they used sliding barn door for the bathroom which was heavy, extemely loud and left a huge gap, not a great choice. If one person has to use the restroom over night, you are guaranteed to wake everyone up in the room. Also lights are motion activated, which means they both turn off on you in the shower and stay on, lighting up the whole room through the huge door gap during said midnight a bathroom visit. Remodel looks fine (rather contemporary/ modern than i prefer for a historic hotel why does everything have to be balck and white?) But the bathroom was very much look over function.

Omni Parker House is an excellent value. The location is perfect for walkability, from shopping and dining to public transportation. The staff is fantastic. They go above and beyond in every aspect of their service. They also have a couple restaurants attached if you need a convenient meal, room service, or a late night cocktail. We have stayed here twice and will do so again next time we're in Boston.

I loved the location and the staff was excellent. The only negatives for me were, 1. The restroom is like the size of an RV bathroom. No space at all. In addition, there is no door for privacy. Only a sliding door with a giant gap that anyone could look through. Also, we were given a king room facing a brick wall on the top floor. Fair warning, this is the party floor. So if you want to hear drunk party goers all night, this is your floor.
