Hotel is looking a touch tired. Elevators are banged up but very fast which was nice. No hand soap in bathroom. Sink was flooded when we arrived. Bed was mid. All in all fine but for the price, expected more.

The rooms now have motion sensors. If you get up during the night, the lights come on. No way to disable it. Otherwise, the Parker House was as good as always.

Omni Cancels Rooms 24 hrs to check in

Don’t book the Omni unless you want to run the risk of having your room cancelled less than 24 hours to check in. I booked a room for the weekend of the Boston Marathon (April 19th - 21st) in September so that I would ensure I got a hotel in a good location for the start buses and the finish line. Less than 24 hours before checking in, I received a message that they did not have enough rooms and would be moving me to the Seaport. I booked this hotel when I did so I would NOT have to stay in the Seaport. When I asked how they decided who didn’t get a room, they said those with the longest stays - so essentially all the marathon runners. They refused to run a shuttle to the start buses or simply to the Omni Parker from the Seaport. They were completely unapologetic. I wouldn’t have been quite so upset if they had given notice so I could find a better option - I just don’t believe they didn’t realize this was an issue until less than 24 hours before. This caused me a huge amount of stress on the weekend I had been working months for. Overall, Boston loves the runners and are so supportive - the Omni clearly doesn’t care about its guests at all. There are plenty of wonderful hotels in Boston who won’t screw you over at the last minute, so I would book with them over the Omni.

The Easiest Part of my Marathon

I was running the Boston marathon and booked this hotel a week before. The staff was amazing, very accomodating to all of my requests. They brought me a microwave to use in the room; in the morning they held my bag for me while I ran the marathon, and when I returned they had a room that they opened up to runners to be able to take a shower even though I had already checked out. Everyone was very freindly and the hotel was quiet and comfortable. Excellent stay!

My room was really small I can’t even use the toilet I’m 5’8 and 210 pounds and I can’t fit between the wall and the vanity, the coffee table full of dust and you have to watch the tv sideways I hope you can give me a refund please

It was a very nice renovated room. The only downside was I couldn’t figure how to NOT allow all the lights to come on during the night if you sat up to high in the bed.

Rooms are extremely small. Bathrooms extremely small. Can barely bend over as you will hit your head. For one or two people as an overnight, might be okay. But parking says $65/night, actually $99.50/night No water in rooms. We were told NOT to drink tap water as well. No hand soap in rooms. They will supply, but you must ask. 2 queens barely fit in room. Much smaller than rooms even in Europe. Will NOT stay here again.

The building is old and historic. The hotel was renovating the lobby during my recent visit, which was a bummer. Excellent room service, attractions are within walking distance, and overall it was a wonderful stay.

This place got me upset at first- but was great by the end- first I booked off Expedia and when I got there this places charged extra fees which got me mad! I usually stay 2 blocks away by the Whole Foods but wanted to try something new- I won’t do that again with the extra fees and they had construction going on—but the staff was great and the place is rich in history which was cool- but I hate the hidden fees
