It was way too noisy curtains were see through had never stay at a Marriott that didn’t offer continental breakfast or even free coffee- also paying for parking even being a paying guest!! Was not impressed at all

Breakfast wasn’t included, and parking also had a high fee for guests. $20 to park at your own hotel? Restaurant for dinner had high prices and poor service, and low quality food. Enjoyed the pool, and the room was quite comfortable apart from the stain on one of our beds. Had issues with the keys not working.

We booked a double queen beds room a week before the trip. When we arrived in, I was told the room was sold out. They gave us a king bed room and I had to sleep in a roll-away bed for the first night. Terrible bed!

The staff was welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The room had a very musty smell and the humidity was high. Our towels wouldn't be dry overnight after a shower. Not sure if this is a regular thing or was just a fluke. We would adjust to the musty smell after being in the room for a bit. As long as the air was running we didn't notice it. We had good access to the interstate and we enjoyed the River Bend restaurant. They had a small menu but the food was delicious and the staff was friendly.

The Marriott Newton is very close to the T, so we were able to take public transportation into Boston every day of our visit. We had a river-view room, with a pretty good view as it was directly below. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, but both the ‘cooked for us’ and buffet options were tasty and plentiful. The honeydew melon was surprisingly ripe, and the strawberry/blueberry/blackberry combo was perfect. Our room was very clean and the housekeeping staff obviously works very hard.

We really enjoyed being right on the river. Our room had a beautiful river view. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good. Having a little Starbucks in the lobby was very convenient. As was having our Hertz rental car pick up Right there! They parking was a bit silly. Charging the amount of money that they did for parking when there is no public transportation nearby felt greedy. This is also very expensive. And the parking lot exit device did not work well so everyone leaving. The parking lot had a real struggle. The display panel was not working and multiple messages are received, saying follow instructions on the screen which was blank. I can understand charging for parking in a crowded city area, where there is very little parking and lots of public transportation. that was a disappointment.
