The room was clean, but shower had no hot water and barely worked. Couldn’t change the room temperature, and the breakfast was terrible. Also very loud and children screaming around 2:30 am

The entrance from the garage all the way to the first floor smelled like urine. The room was dirty, there was black gunk dried on the night stand, the tv had something smeared on it. The bathroom also seemed to be somewhat dirty. The hotel and rooms were dated but isn’t a reason why it should be dirty. People were banging on doors and yelling in the hallways after midnight. None of the floors are closed off so you can imagine the echo. I almost threw up walking past the lobby. Very filthy hotel overall. I messaged the hotel you would think they would have tried to make it better but no answer.

The staff was helpful. It was very easy to register and find my room. The only thing I was confused about was the pool. You do not have access when you book the room, it is an add- on. We didn’t mind because we had plans all weekend. 35 minute commute to Salem and about 25 minute commute back.

Room was clean and comfortable. It’s an older hotel, but has maintained significant upgrades. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I did not like the fact that the entrance door no longer works and somewhat unsafe for walking from vehicle to entrance.

This was a grand hotel once upon a time. But it needs work. The rugs were not worn out. But it just looked old and tired. The faucet in my bathroom was loose. The radiator cover in the bathroom was askew. No electrical outlets or fan in the bathroom. Very few vending machines worked. The elevator was hard to connect with. Nice pool, but I didn't use it. Decent buffet breakfast, but limited choices for protein. Just yogurt. The hotel is between 2 streets, but no crosswalks. Not their fault but they should get the town to fix that. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Internet was fast compared to most hotels. Full sized refrigerator in the room and a microwave. Staff was friendly. I may go back when I'm in the area. For a lower priced hotel, it was better than most.

This hotel itself is a bit beaten up. It probably deserves 2 stars. But, the neighborhood is great. Next door to a McDonalds. Across the street from a Stop and Shop. Right on the bus line into downtown Boston.

Staff was attentive. With a little bit of attention, this place could easily be a Four-star .The layout and design inside does not reflect the outside of the hotel. Don't get discouraged.

The room smelled like cigarettes and old. Thank God we got there at midnight and left early in the morning. Also, please know that the breakfast does not include eggs of any kind. I will not recommend this hotel.

This property was amazing I loved the layout. Great smoking area outside. Will be back many more times. Only downfall was the breakfast they should of had more options for people especially that are lactose intolerant.
