Good: Jacuzzi open until 11pm, coffee in the lobby in the morning, beautiful desert landscaping at the hotel. Could get better: healthy snack and fruit selection in the lobby, tennis courts are in need of attention and updates, room could do with an update: wallpaper is beginning to peel, tv is rather old.

Bad toilet

The toilet clogged very easy. Everyday we had to call someone to plunge it. No it wasn't 💩. Just liquid but janitor said use less paper. That wasn't the problem. Everything is low flow in the desert including the shower. Makes no sense when you have to use so much water to rinse off.

Very convenient location for exploring the Anza Borrego Desert. We were very tiered after a long day of hiking and driving and were happy to relax in the hot tub. We were also Happy to be able to eat dinner and breakfast on site at the restaurant. The property all around is a bit dated and could use some work and someTLC. The room is a spacious and it was nice to have a balcony. The Bed is really old and saggy. Very few amenities in the room.

Huge Room and Great Views/Peace

This property is in a great location, with views of the desert and mountains in almost all directions. The King Suite is huge and has a porch. Staff is super professional and friendly. Arches restaurant is conveniently located on the property and everything we had was delicious and fairly priced. Loved our stay!

Hotel was very luxurious in its day, but getting a little long in the tooth. Parking was only ok. Bed was really bad, needs replacement.

The resort was wonderful. We arrived pretty early and our room was ready so they let us in which was great so we could start our hiking without worrying about all of our luggage and valuables in the car. The location is great for all the trails. Really really nice for the dark night sky! An old golf course is a couple blocks away that you can walk to and view the dark dark sky. We visited the restaurant as well. Soooooo good. Seriously. We really enjoyed our food! The brussel sprouts are ridiculous!!! We will definitely be returning.
