Avoid!

Our floor and room had a very bad smell. We woke up in the night to find many cockroaches in the room. The hotel is not concerned by the infestation. Avoid this hotel.

This was a very clean and maintained hotel right across from the main Bordeaux train station Gare St Jean. It’s also walking distance to a lot of the central Bordeaux attractions. The staff were excellent on check in/out and during the stay. The lobby is small but quaint with coffee and a little sitting area with games and books and a ukulele. Would highly recommend this especially if taking the train.

Booked a triple room for a one night stopover. Arrived after nine in the evening due to issues with Eurostar and missing a connection in Paris. Hotel about as close to station as it could be without actually being inside. No problem checking in late. Room was small but adequate for what we needed and although it’s a very busy area didn’t really notice any noise issues. Plenty of places to eat in area.

Lovely hotel near the train station

Lovely hotel near the main train station (I love those in one European cities!). Great staff, very helpful and kind. Small rooms but I was there for business, so it was a perfect stay.

My only real complaint about the room was the bathroom door.... it was a swinging shower door as opposed to a "real" door which one can shut!! This means ZERO toilet privacy and depending on with whom you are travelling, this can be extremely awkward!

Right opposite the train station. Convenient to leave luggage when you check out or before you check in. Friendly staff and good amenities available if you need a snack or drink out of hours. Rooms was comfy but a little noisy as we were on the first floor and facing the station.

The noise outside the room woke me up at 5am and the matress was about 10cm thick and moved around as it wasn't attached to the bed and was hot and uncomfortable so it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. There were homeless people sleeping in the doorway and some unsavoury charcters around at night and as a woman travelling alone I did not feel safe.
