This hotel is in an ideal situation in the centre of Bordeaux, a minute walk to local tram and 5 minute walk to Hotel de Ville tram stop from the airport. The reception is 24 hours. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and happy. My single room was ideal. Very clean modern, with shower unit and always hot water. Room was cleaned every day. All the shopping areas, bars, restaurants are on the doorstep. Very safe and quiet area.

A quirky friendly family run hotel. Rooms are not large but everything you need and a great price for such a prime location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay here again if visiting Bordeaux.

The hotel is located in a pedestrian zone, it’s very central. The staff is amazing and super friendly. Rooms are quite small, especially the bathroom, but they are clean. Good deal for the money.

Chambre au calme coté cour. Lit confortable. Petit déjeuner excellent (copieux et varié) Personnels sympathiques avec une mention speciale pour la dame du petit déjeuner. Situation géographiques ideale pour visiter Bordeaux à pieds.

The price for the location is excellent. It is near the middle of all of the main sights downtown. The building is old, which makes it interesting, but also can be challenging to get luggage to the 4th floor. The staff are very willing to help, but it is something to be aware of. The rooms were clean and there was room service every day.

Hotel Gambetta, being a 2-star property, is as youd expect, basic, clean, and no frills. The room was comfortable and clean, but relatively small. The staff were great, and very helpful. Location is very central and walkable, with parking approximately 300m away. There was noticeable street noise at night, and the blockout curtains didnt quite shield the night lights.

Location, they say, is everything. If so, this hotel is the place to be. And the staff is tremendous. The room was small and a bit outdated but ask yourself why you’re there. Are you moving in and making it home or do you just need a place to sleep at night? I recommend

The room was very small, no safe, or fridge. Peeling paint on walls, average bathroom decor and noise from street with window shut was still loud. Luggage was difficult to get into room with significant steps from the lift. No plug sockets on one side of the bed. Only 4 hangars supplied for 2 people was not enough for a 3 night stay especially with limited room to open & store suitcases. Great location however and friendly staff.
