Close to main train station and perfectly acceptable, but nothing special. Not a pleasant part of town but convenient.

The location is beautiful with breakfast beingable to be taken on the roof top terrace, with the selection being very good. the only downside was not having staff on site all the time that were visible,

The staff were very friendly. They offered a lot of tips on shopping and dining options a few meters away. Bed and pillows were extra comfortable.

We are a family of seven and stayed at Novotel Köln City for a week. We had two room and unfortunately they were on two different floor. The rooms both had a large double bed and a sofa bed. They had a small fridge and a safe. There were a few English channels and it was possible to change the dubbed voices to original English. The rooms were cleaned daily, unless the do not disturb sign was on the door.
