The location is beautiful, the grounds are well laid out and the room was tastefully put together. Not stuffy or uncomfortable. Very relaxing and comfortable bed, couch and open table setting. One area which could be improved has to do with the water filtration. It seems as if the filter cleansing is not being done properly with the DE or saline system. Overall though, a very relaxing weekend.

"We already plan to go back"
Our hotel room was very nicely appointed, had great amenities and the grounds had a lot to offer. The only criticizim I can give is about the bed. We have a very comfy bed and this one was a little worn out for me. We ordered room service breakfast that was exactly on time, hot and delicious. We will have to try the restaurant next time, we arrived too late.

"Like staying at a B&B"
We were meet by pleasant host who showed us around the hotel and to our lovely, clean room. Our surroundings we're just what you would hope when staying at Bodega Bay. There were a few things that we will have to come back to enjoy, like the hot tub that wasn't quite ready for use but we will be back to enjoy it. There are places within walking distance to have coffee or a fine meal and shop. I can't wait to return.

Pocket Guide: Bodega Bay Bodega Bay Hotels

The backdrop to Hitchcock’s 1963 thriller The Birds, Bodega Bay contains an active commercial fishing port. Boats unload their catch at the popular Tides Wharf, which offers fish markets, shops, and eateries. Beach visitors enjoy beachcombing and whale watching, while hardy surfers ply the chilly waves. To the north is Fort Ross, a former Russian fur trading center established in 1812.
