This is my second time staying there. The place is very nice looking, especially the courtyard although there were these flies at the top of every staircase I took to get to my room. None ever came in the room however. I had a room overlooking the freeway and an offramp but I kind of liked the white noise of it. I was also lucky enough to be in an end room and I didn't have a lot of traffic walking by my window or banging on walls. It's in a convenient location to all kinds of things. The girl who checked me in, I think her name was Michelle, was extremely nice and welcoming. She even acknowledged that I had been there before.

Very serviceable hotel. Rooms are quiet, clean & very comfortable. Saltwater pool & large jacuzzi great for groups. No restaurant but good options close by - Piner brekfast, micro brew spot. I'd return.

The Flamingo is a nice hotel with a clean pool. There is pool service for part of the day but it ends pretty early for summer. I was out there after 5pm and tried to order from a waitress but she wouldn't take my order stating that I had to go to the bar BUT she did take the order of the two older woman who were sitting next to me. I thought that was shady and really rude. The food is good, although the continental breakfast leaves much to be desired. I ordered a burger and the kitchen didn't add my bacon but I was still charged for it. The room I stayed in was really spacious and seemed clean enough. The carpet, however was moist and the room had a weird smell at first. There was also a big stain on the carpet. Nothing major was so bad that I would never stay there again, but I would hope for better service all around.

Beautiful grounds, spacious rooms, awesome pool, old lousy bed and furniture. Terrible wifi and cheap cable system. The high price for a room pays for the view and lush landscaping. The staff were friendly. Daily newspaper at your door every morning.

We felt very welcomed and were treated special as it was our 20th anniversary. The concierge service is excellent. The rooms were very comfortable. The pool and hot tub area was inviting. The breakfast buffet was good, but seemed a bit overpriced; although it had a nicer ambiance than most hotels.

Just needed a place to stay overnight for a very early morning flight. Only problem with the room overall was a stain in the tub that looked like vomit. Thankfully it wasn't but disconcerting. The staff on the other hand was outstanding. The woman that checked me in was pleasant and very helpful as was the man that checked me out (although he couldn't give me directions to the airport--he apologized) Both were friendly, I was frazzled when I arrived and anxious about my flight and both were calming influences so wanted to thank them.

Staff was courteous, prompt and professional. Restaurant was excellent and accommodating. The pool, spa and showers were refreshing, in perfect working order and clean. Our room was tasteful and well appointed. We were not disturbed by noises outside. The food and desserts were excellent and moderately priced for a lodge of this quality.
We agreed our stay was a "10" and will definitely return on our next trip down the coast.

The backdrop to Hitchcock’s 1963 thriller The Birds, Bodega Bay contains an active commercial fishing port. Boats unload their catch at the popular Tides Wharf, which offers fish markets, shops, and eateries. Beach visitors enjoy beachcombing and whale watching, while hardy surfers ply the chilly waves. To the north is Fort Ross, a former Russian fur trading center established in 1812.
