Hallway was filthy but the room was clean. We chose to stay there because it was the only we could find close to the clinic that allowed Pets.

The state wasn’t bad considering the money. The blanket on the bed had several holes in that. The comforter had stains on it. The blow dryer was broken and ripped off the wall, but the new one was not installed and just sat off to the side… For the money and considering that it’s a tourist town, it wasn’t bad, especially with just passing through need a place to sleep… If I would’ve been on a family vacation, I would’ve been very upset.

Stephanie was so wonderful and patient and knowledgeable! The property is absolutely gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. I’m so thankful places like this exist and are being preserved and cared for by people who are passionate about history and story telling. Stephanie also prepared the most delicious breakfast for us despite my gluten sensitivity. I was so appreciative! I can’t wait to stay again (and hope to arrive earlier this time ;) ).

Room smelled like mildew when we got in. Turned up the AC which seemed to help. Dead bugs on the bathroom floor. Shampoo dispenser broken off wall. Bed was very comfy. Large parking lot for trailers/boats. Breakfast (grab and go it should be called) was sub-par. Overall would stay here again due to its proximity to the Nickel Barn directly behind it. Good coffee and sandwiches.
