FALSE ADVERTISING - WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER…

We had to move from our original room and on the sixth room - the tv finally worked. The upkeep of the hotel was horrible and it was incredibly unclean. The pictures online do not RESEMBLE the property. There was no central air but the window units partially worked and the elevator floor was covered in water. However, the lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful. I WOULD NEVER STAY AT ANY LAQUINTA HOTEL AGAIN and the price was outrageous (including a security deposit) for this hotel. I have never been so dissatisfied with a hotel.

My Stay.

I've stayed here a few times over the last year and a half. Check-in and reservations are always quick and easy, and the staff is friendly. The remodel looks nice, but it's also a little cheap. The plaster paper in the shower is coming off the ceiling due to poor ventilation as steam fills the bathroom. I have had to change rooms upon check-in due to the smell of mold, and the rooms with glass shower doors have the rubber lining come off doors, which I put back on. As a commercial real estate investor, don't go cheap on the remodel, or it will cost you more in the long run. Install fans in the bathrooms and ensure the coils in the air units are removing moisture from the air. Mold in the south can cause serious damage.

Charging $100 Deposit on Insurance reasons after you paid for your room . Not enough of breakfast and nothing to drink but coffee and old milk I even seen gentiles hair on the toilet in my bathroom room with head hair across the sink. I will not recommend another stay here .

Smoky and loud hallways - hard to sleep

There are many places in the hotel that need repair, and it is somewhat run down overall. In particular, it smelled like weed in the hallways to the elevator, by the pool and in the hallway to our room. There was also some loud people in the hallway on our floor, and when I called the front desk, a man came up and yelled at them to stop being loud. When he left, they were louder until almost 2 am.

Easy check-in. The back exit door was open most of the time until I shut it, which was interesting because you need a room card to get in, but it was wide open. The hallway literally smelled like someone was smoking a blunt the entire time we were there. The shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, it had hair all over it and the couch had so many stains on it, I had to cover it with a sheet before I sat on it.
