Can't say enough good things
I'm inclined to try and keep this place a secret so it's available still and at a reasonable price next time we are in Birmingham but this little gem deserves the good review.
There was not much information online about this "hotel" but the photos and reviews I did find gave me enough confidence to book and boy was it worth it.
This hotel is actually just seven (I believe) suites located on one floor of the historic John Hand building. We stayed in the Cobblestone suite which I felt had the best set up and was the only room with access to the shared balcony (shared from the common area)
Upon arrival and checking in you'll be given key card access to the elevators to the 7th floor.
The common area and hotel floor is stunning. Marble floors and high end lights and fixtures. There is a small kitchen area with snacks and coffee. There was a mini fridge where we kept our leftover pizza after dinner.
The rooms were all booked for the evening but we only saw one other couple. There was no noise inside the hotel and very little road noise in the Cobblestone room. The other rooms might have more noise as they are on the main street.
Guests of the hotel have access to the rooftop lounge and bar which made for a nice time before heading out to our Valentines dinner and concert.
Parking was easy.
