There was a large water leak in a restaurant attached to the hotel. This resulted in fire alarms going off throughout the hotel and people evacuating their rooms. The alarms could not be turned off until the police arrived, which was approximately 40 minutes later. To add insult to injury, we awoke to no hot water, and then the water being turned off completely at 9 am for repairs which we were told would take several hours. The hotel did not offer any form of credit or compensation when we checked out. Just a “sorry for the inconvenience “. Hotel should have a policy of some form of credit for a bad situation like this. You can’t simply blame the attached restaurant when it affects your business.

Rude shuttle pick-up. Rude check-in service. Restaurant was flooded when we arrived, alarms going off and no one to greet us upon arrival. Eventually all we got was “wait!” While the only 2 staff members were running around with the police. Woman who eventually was checking us in was not understanding we had 2 reservations for the 3 of us, then not understanding which 2 of us were together. No apologies, no thank you for your patience!

Unintended Stopover

My flight was cancelled so I booked this hotel as one of 2two nearest the airport as I recognised the Brand. Room was comfortable and early continental breakfast was welcome at 5am with warm pastries and coffee to start the day before getting the complimentary shutgle to thd airport.
