"2 Star Motel with View"
This motel is across from a beautiful lake - one hour from Old Faithful. Good choice if facilities inside the park are full or if you prefer isolation from crowds inside Yellowstone. It is very plain but clean and roomy. We paid $300 per night which seems very high for the bare, undecorated, sparse room. Beds were comfortable though and we enjoyed the view!

"Beautiful cabin setting north of West Yellowstone"
Our cabin was lovely and included everything we needed. A wonderful, full breakfast was included as part of our stay. There were many activities going on including fly fishing lessons, but we could only stay one night. The surrounding area is beautiful.

The staff was really nice. Room was clean, though bathroom amenities could be better. It would be nice if the hotel had more than one restaurant. There were too few parking spots and it was somewhat difficult to find parking.

"Nice Hotel"
My family and I went to Yellowstone. We stayed in that motel for 5 nights. First of all, West Yellowstone is really a great place for visiting Yellowstone Park. The town is just right out of the entrance. Basically, you can walk from the town to the park. If you read my rating, I gave very high rating for everything, but the facilities. As a matter of fact, there is almost no facilities in this motel at all. Of course, it also depends on what facilities you want to have. A pool - no. A gym - no. A dinner room - no. A ice maker - no. But if what you need is to have a clean bed, clean bathroom, clean room, a kitchen -- then yes. You get them. I gave a high rating for this motel because I don't think it is fair if you compare it with a high-end, $1000 per night hotel. If you do so, then this motel may only deserve one star. For me, as long as the room is clean, the bed is clean, the bathroom is clean, and not too expensive, then it is enough. In some other reviews, people complained the charge of the motel is too expensive. I can't agree with it. Please be aware, it is Yellowstone. If you compare the charge of this motel to others in the same area, it is low. You can't compare the price of this motel to other motels in other places.

Big Sky is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Big Sky, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Big Sky hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
