The hotel is situated close to many restaurants,the Fish Market and waterfront. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was clean,quite spacious and unique in its architecture. We would have liked a safe , a fridge and more garbage containers in our room.

Great choice in Bergen!

The room we had was quite spacious with very comfortable beds. There was a Nespresso machine in but we asked for a kettle so we could also make tea. The hotel reception and lounge is very stylish and the beautiful plants give it a special feel. Breakfast was superb with a huge variety of choices to suit everyone. The area around the hotel is (in my opinion) quite scruffy and our room looked out onto a derelict building that was being renovated. Unfortunately, we found Bergen to be quite scruffy - a lot of litter, run-down buildings and very touristy which was very disappointing and not like it was on our first visit a long time ago but there is lots to do there if you can keep out of the rain!

Great location and very nice modern building. The room was clean, however, contact lenses from previous guest were still on the bathroom floor. Selection at breakfast was great, even though certain products were finished pretty early and not replaced (cheese platter, granola, fruit). I was a little disappointed that there was no bar or food option during the day, especially since it claims to be a top boutique hotel. Also, the restaurant refused service even though half the tables were empty at 9 pm. The reason was that the waiters can only take care of a certain number of tables…I thought that was not very service oriented. Room was very cool, great interior design, very quiet, comfortable beds; appreciated the coffee machine. The mini bar was unnecessary and made unnecessesary noises. Safe is not available. Would come back anytime again.

Amazing location and stay!

Location is amazing! Walking distance to all tourist attractions. Hotel was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly. Loved every minute of our vacation! Would stay here again if coming to Bergen!

Lovely Hotell

Very attractive room. However, a bit too small for 2 people. The bathroom was lovely with very tasteful elements. The shower was great with great pressure. However, for a female with a fair amount of toiletries, it was a bit hard to navigate this very small bathroom. The staff were great! We arrived very early and the happily stored our luggage. The breakfast buffet is terrific! Dinner in Izakaya on site was great. A very pleasant stay, but next time I would get a junior suite.

A 4-star hotel masquerading as 5

A nice hotel but didn't seem to be 5-star quality. The rooms are VERY small, there are no doormen, no slippers, the towels were not that nice. The breakfast was included but just okay. Neither the spa nor the gym were available when we stayed. The hotel also seemed to only push restaurants that were associated with their other sister hotels, so it just felt like self-dealing. On the plus side, the location is great and the people at the front desk were very friendly and hospitable. It's a solid 4-star hotel but definitely not luxury. Perhaps it is one of the best that you can get in Bergen but we expected more for the price.
