Bennington Vacation Packages

We booked this room quite a few months ago. Room 464 did not have a window ac in the room. No AC and the room was hot as hell a night. We had a fan, but no way to cool off. Absolutely horrible sleeping condition.

Not a far drive to Woodstock and reasonable price for a very popular weekend. Comfortable , clean room pleasant staff and good breakfast included.

Very nice property on a beautiful piece of land. Excellent location that is very close to Quechee Gorge and Simon Pierce. Only about 15 minutes to Dartmouth College. Innkeeper was very friendly and helpful and they have a nice Golden Retriever named Sam.

Very nice restaurant, very nice bar/lounge/porch experience. Room was small, quaint, just good enough. Bath was spacious, but shower in the bathroom was much too small - only large enough for an adult male to just turn around in; not bend over. Good food. Good service in restaurant and bar. Grounds were nice but not special. Room was small and without A/C, because relied on single window unit only, and the maintenance people removed that one for repair earlier in the day without replacing it. The hostess said she did not know, but when told, she made no effort to fix. Fortunately, it was a cold evening and the too warm room cooled off after the window was left open. Was very surprised by the hostess' lack of care/effort to correct the A/C situation. Overall good experience for one night, but not worth the premium price. Will look elsewhere if ever in the area again.

The cabins are fantastic. It was a cold morning so we didn't get to explore the property much but I would definitely stay there again.
