Lovely pleasant staff! An awesome breakfast! Just hotels bit run down, walls are paper thin.. every floorboard is creaky, bed springs gone too needs a refurb to be honest lets it down

Second stay here and still think it’s a hidden gem. Amazing value for money, superb location, extremely clean and comfortable. Staff work very hard to make this place special.

We were visiting Bamburgh, Lindisfarne and Alnwick . Purdy Lodge was ideally positioned and easily accessed from the A1 . Our room faced East towards the coast , was clean , tidy , nicely maintained, comfortable and given the hotels proximity to the A1 incredibly quiet . Bamburgh Castle was visible from our window in the distance. The breakfast was nicely cooked with plenty of choice . We didn’t dine in the Restaurant . The staff deserve a special mention , polite, friendly , helpful and they seemed constantly busy . We wouldn't hesitate to book again .

Purdy Lodge

Purdy Lodge is ideally situated for visiting the stunning coastline and area of Northumberland and the border towns & villages. Although just off the A1, we were never disturbed by the passing traffic. We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our mini break. Breakfast was excellent.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Decent 24hr food was great! Tesla charging was very convenient. Great for sight seeing multiple areas. Bedsheets were clean. Highly recommend, good value for money.
