Nice, clean and right downtown. It's an old school hotel refurbished for the modern world.

"Newly remodeled "
We had a great stay at the AmericaI nn. The facility has been newly remodeled, staff was great, breakfast was well stocked with plenty of choices right up to the 10 AM shut off time. Great value overall very clean, and super comfortable beds, Only problem was finding it.

"Good Budget Stop in Battle Creek"
In town for an event in Marshall, just 20 mins up the road, we chose this as an economical price point value stay. For the money, the level of amenities was very good, and the staff was VERY good, both in attitude and job execution. "Hot breakfast" was a standard continental with powdered eggs and microwave sausage, DIY waffle iron and a crockpot of sausage gravy. Boilerplate but effective, no complaints. The room was dated but very clean. Had to take points off because of the towel rack coming off the wall after removing the folded towels from it, and the faucet handle for the sink came off in our hands. The outdoor pool was clean, and not overly chemically treated (smelled unoffensive, was clear and no skin issues issues after swimming). The staff was ON POINT - check in and out was friendly, efficient, housekeeping was spot on, when problems came up they were quickly and easily handled, and were a highlight of our stay! (Extra bonus - right next door to Sweetwater Donut Shop, one of the top 10 donut places in the country and they are open 24 hours!) We will be doing more events in this area, and this hotel will be a mainstay for us in the coming months! Did we LOVE this hotel? Probably not. Did we LIKE it? VERY MUCH SO, and will stay here again soon!

"Good Value"
We were in town for a conference and needed a place to sleep. We got exactly what we had hoped for, a comfortable, clean room at an affordable price. We didn't sample the breakfast (it smelled good) or use the pool (it was clean and inviting but we didn't have time) but if it had been a vacation type of stop we would have done both.

"It was ok"
Staff was very friendly and its right off the freeway. It definitely wasnt the cleanest place but it worked for the night. Plus they allowed my 3 large dogs. Bed was comfy but pillows are flat. There were holes in 2 of our lg towels. I would stay there again if i had to but definitely not the best.

"Good facility, low price draws rowdy crowds"
I loved staying at the Red Roof Inn! The room was excellent and the service was some of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, the low price drew several late night party-ers and the connecting rooms have no sound proofing. I was woken at 3am by loud music and laughter and had to move rooms. Luckily the staff was extremely accommodating. And even put the disturbers in a do not rent to list. However I do not recommend this hotel for families with babies or children. It would have been a nightmare in that case.

This hotel is super ugly. Outdated gold and reds that make your eyes sore. Our two full size bed room was small, but not horribly so. The bathroom was definitely on the small side. But both were perfectly matched with the low price of the room. And...everything was very clean! The beds were very comfortable. The pool well maintained (the lighting was dim, I'm sure they would have fixed that if we'd asked.) Breakfast was delicious and hot. And most of all service was wonderful. Polite. Kind. Extremely helpful (lookin' at you, Tri!) This will definitely be our go to hotel when we stay in Kalamazoo/Portage. There are great businesses and fun things to do close by as well. Sky Zone is right next door, so that's fun for kids.

Battle Creek is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Battle Creek, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Battle Creek hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
