Good service, clean but needs work

We had a comfortable bed with nice bedding. Whole hotel looked, felt and smelled clean. Service was very good! Location and amenities were just what we wanted. Price was good! Breakfast was ok. All that being said, we had to switch rooms because of faulty equipment and the second room also had issues. We made it work. Could really use better plugs by the bed. There is construction outside so the driveway is partially blocked and the parking seems risky (though we had no problem). The enitre hotel really needs updating. Dinner at the Cheesecake Bistro across the street was fantastic!

Decent hotel, terrible customer service.

Upon checking in the front desk host informed me that I had reserved a room with 1 King bed. I informed her that that was incorrect. I showed her a confirmation email from the third-party that I booked through, as well as a conformation email that I had from the Hyatt hotel stating that I reserved a room with 2 Double Beds and a Sofa Bed. She stated that the third party booking company probably didn't send over the correct reservation information. I informed her that that doesn't make sense because I have confirmation emails from both companies with the correct booking information. She then said to let her see what she could do and it would be between an 45M-1Hr before the room became available. I came back in approximately one hour the room wasn't ready, she then stated to give them 15 additional mins I came back in 15 mins and the room still wasn't ready. After 1Hr&30 mins, I came back and asked the host would I be given an hour and 30 mins beyond check out-time to stay in the hotel since I wasn't able to get into my room due to reasons beyond my control, the host informed me to call down to the front desk in the morning, basically brushing it off as it'll be another shift's problem. Finally,a different hotel attendant ended up getting me a hotel room after about 1.45mins. Overall, I ended up calling corporate because the initial host was rude and unprofessional and probably went in the system to switch my hotel reservation herself not expecting me to call corporate on her.

Our stay was good. The property is under renovation so there were some minor issues but nothing that would keep us from coming back. The breakfast was excellent. Customer service was excellent.
