Probably not everyone’s cup of tea. But I wanted a unique local experience in Bath. The property certainly delivered on that. There was a busy local pub. The breakfast was certainly one of the highlights. The room was large and the bed comfortable.

This place was fantastic, even though we had a minor issue checking in the girl working the bar was extremely friendly and helpful and everything was sorted out very quickly. When you walk in you walk into this cute and very amazing looking bar the drinks there were very good, they have a kitchen too but I never got the chance to try their food. The room also was amazing had lots of character and was perfect for me and my partner. The bathroom is very clean and the beds are comfortable. It's also in the perfect area super convenient and everything important is within walking distance and you're right around the corner from the Roman baths and right by a little city square that has lots of options for food. This place was perfect and we will be back. I highly recommend.

Very central in bath can walk basically anywhere. Lovely breakfast and everything in room was lovely. Small rooms but got everything. Shower was really nice and shampoo was very nice. Would recommend

You must try The Black Fox

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Black Fox. Our room was clean and comfortable. Could not fault it. Will be booking again for future visits to Bath. Convenient for shops and 5 minute walk to Bath Forum. Food was delicious and great value for money.

Overall a good place to stay. Breakfast was very nice and staff provide excellent service. The only minor inconvenience we experienced during our stay was the occasional noise at night during strong winds, likely due to vibrations from outside, possibly caused by the building’s age.

Nice hotel , nice staff but didn't work for me.

Really nice place and i would recommend but i had a couple of issues, nothing serious though. Firstly, it was a little noisy from traffic and people into the early hours, to be expected i suppose in a city centre hotel. Secondly, although breakfast was included in my booking, unfortunately it wasn't served until 8am, this is ok for tourists but as i start lecturing at 8.30, i was unable to take advantage of the breakfast. Please understand the Black Fox is good, it just didn't work for me.

Overall a good stay, the rooms are dated and there were large damp patches on the walls but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom is nicely done. Very convenient location and a few minutes walk to the shopping and amenities. The pub itself is lovely, and the included breakfast was very nice.

It was great to be in an old pub in the centre of Bath where the bed and bathroom were very clean and luxurious, and yet the pub still had that local vibe. Loved the rhubarb gin as well as the great pints of bitter. Would definitely stay at the pub again when we next visit Bath.

Super Cool place to stay, right in the heart of beautiful Bath. A lovely bar/ restaurant downstairs and modern remodeled rooms above. Breakfast was terrific. The surrounding area was just amazing. So much history and beauty. Please note : A remote car park is needed if you’re driving. There are options close by.
