We had a lovely stay for a couple of nights while we saw family. We enjoyed a meal when we arrived on the Monday evening which was lovely but the portions were large. We decided to have the Continental breakfast on our last morning which is all self service with a lot of choice. The staff were very attentive.

Filthy room - we checked out early

Checked in and checked out an hour later as the room was filthy and the windows had next to no soundproofing. Carpet and skirting boards were thick with dust and bathroom grout was black. We were shown another room to move to which was just as bad. When we sad we were checking out they said ok and apologised but still waiting for a refund.

Clean room, good food

Easy parking, room was clean but first room overlooked the road and was noisy, the hotel changed my room without any problem. Good choice for breakfast cooked fresh and evening meals had plenty of choice.

Comfortable stopover

I have no idea how eco-friendly they are so I have left a middling score for that. Otherwise everything was fine except for one bit of misinformation: when I arrived, the receptionist told me the bar was closed; nevertheless there were still a few guests there and they sold me a beer.

Room was clean just a bit old and tired, but decent enough for the price. We arrived late and went to the bar for a drink. Staff seemed friendly but during our drink two of the staff members had a full on row in front of all the customers in the bar. Which was embarrassing and made us uncomfortable.
