I booked a room with 2 queen beds as I wanted a kitchenette to use. The room was very nice, beds were comfortable and the only negative was that the fridge couldn’t be adjusted to a decent temperature to keep anything cold. The property is very nice, well maintained and clean, and there are walking paths in the area. Shops, restaurants etc are all a few minutes drive from the hotel. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see the rooftop patio, it was booked for a private event. But there is an outdoor area with a fire pit, comfy chairs and a bbq, plus an outdoor pool. The view of the lake is gorgeous. The spa is the reason I stayed at this hotel and it is wonderful. It’s a really nice place to escape to and unwind and I will definitely be back. I

I thought the remodelled rooms were nice. However the layout made getting to the room complicated. There was a lingering horrible smell downstairs by the elevator and exit. The hotel says it’s a resort but it’s really not up to that standard. Also, less commonly used spaces are very dirty and worn and dated and i thought a lot more same ties were actually on site. The fire pit was not lit, bbqs broke.n and pool, hot tub and saunas felt dirty. As a resort you do not want the amenities out of use and complicated layout and you want to be able to walk to everything and have a relaxing stay. Booking included amenities were work, just make the process easier. I really just did not feel it has the amenities to call itself a resort.
