"Great location right by Tower Bridge"
Fantastic location by The Tower, and all the attractions along the Embankment are very walkable. Our room overlooked St. Katharine Docks and was extremely quiet, clean and comfortable. We booked an Executive room which gave us access to the Executive lounge (complimentary breakfast, drinks, snacks), free mini-bar and a Nespresso machine in the room. There is also a Tesco Metro next door if you want to buy drinks or food at supermarket prices!

"Nice, practical hotel"
Stayed here on a brief stay-over in London and the hotel met our needs. Our room was small (bathroom was really small), but it was clean, updated, and comfortable. Easy walk from Paddington station and easy walk to some good, local restaurants.

"Modern Hotel in Great Location "
Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms are small compared to US however very modern. All items in the room are controlled electronically In the heart of a bustling area with nightlife. Breakfast 2 out of 3 days cold. Same menu each day. Not worth the cost. Grocery store a couple doors down. Overall pleasant experience however many of the staff do not speak English well and had a bit of a language barrier.

"Great Location next to transport hub"
Outstanding proximity to the London Kings Cross/St. Pancras stations (train and tube). The neighborhood is a bit on the dirty side, even for London, but not bad at all. The hotel was nice- very, very basic. A lot of people from the US might not expect just how basic (and tiny room size), but if you've traveled in Europe at all, it's not uncommon. It's very much a budget hotel. With that said, the rooms were clean as were the premises (despite some renovation), check in and check out was fast and efficient, the staff was friendly and helpful. We also felt completely safe. We would definitely stay there again.

"Nice Hotel in an excellent location"
The hotel is a very nice hotel connected directly to Victoria Station and underground. It has a very nice hospitality room which we used every morning for breakfast and for free wine and appetizers in the late afternoon. Staff were all very nice. Perfect location. Have stayed in many London Hotels and I would stay again.

"Convenient for a Quick Trip"
I came in on the Eurostar and was leaving for an early flight out of Heathrow the next day - I usually stay at the Hilton actually attached to the station but a last minute change of plans ruled the Hilton out as it was booked. The is directly across the street from the Hilton and a 2 minute walk to the Heathrow Express - other than having to walk outside (thankfully no rain) the Mercure was just as convenient. I arrived in the evening and was quickly checked into the Executive King I booked. The lift was small but I was traveling light. The room itself was small but for London standards was good sized and I was actually surprised at how large the bathroom was. Plenty of outlets and one that could reach the nightstand with a little creativity. Also had a tea kettle and Nespresso machine. Toiletries in the bathroom included: shampoo (no conditioner but I had 2 bottle of shampoo so I am not sure if that was an error or if they don't include it) shower gel, lotion and bar soap. I am a petite person and the bathroom mirror was so very high - so high that I actually thought about dragging the desk chair over to do my makeup. Also the lighting for makeup was not very good, I noticed in the morning 2 of the three lights over the sink were burned out. Room is not particularly light proof - it was full daylight around 5am and the room was bright. I had to get up at 5:30 anyway but could be an issue if you wanted to sleep late. Room also had a lot of ambient city noise and vibrat

Barnet is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Barnet, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Barnet hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
