Our room was fine, although very hot due to there being no working A/C. The hotel was clean and the cleaning staff were warm and friendly. Our room wasn’t cleaned one day and when I went to get fresh towels at reception I received a rather cursory response, so found the cleaner and got towels from her. We had persistent problems with our keycard throughout our stay - culminating in it taking 45 minutes on our last night for two members of staff to get the door open (apparently the lock needed charging). We found consistently having to go to reception to explain the situation to be tiresome. The problem was never resolved and we were relieved when we were finally able to check out and leave!

Enjoyed my stay as expected

I did a solo holiday and I’m not a fan of hostels. I didn’t spend much time in the hotel as I had a busy itinerary. Travelodge provided what I needed, the room was clean, they provided fresh towels everyday and cleaned the room. The staff were friendly when we had interactions. My only criticism is that the air conditioning in the room isn’t the best, fortunately I went at a time of year where it wasn’t too hot otherwise that would’ve been tough to sleep.

Hotel was close to Metro and bus route, walkable to shops & restaurant. The room was okay, only thing I would recommend is to put a mat in the shower, very slippery, I'm a senior and was afraid of slipping, had to hold the bar at all times.

Good for value

The hotel it seems is going some renovation, breakfast is not available in the hotel currently. Otherwise rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, but quite small. But still big enough for one traveler. Location of the hotel is convenient to go anywhere either with bus, metro or even walking. Beach is couple of minutes walk away and also dinning options are plenty nearby.
