Customers have no value here.

Not everything is bad but they have an attitude problem at times. The kitchen is under equipped (no stove) and it sounds like a hell of a demand to get a decent size plate or a knine to cut food. They told me they could not provide because it's in the washing machine, so they say because, I didn't see a knife the previous day either.

The location right next to the beach is very pretty. Although it is a bit of a hike to the city center. My room was clean and staff was nice. The property is a bit run down and noise carries very well. I could easily here people coming in from a night out or getting up for an early start all throughout the night.

The hostel is located at the beach and only this is advantadge. The rooms are not isolated at all. This is a big space shared in parts like in office ( without windows). They dont have normal kitchen and common area as well. You can use fridge and microwave and go to the beach bar for eating.

The place and staff were excellent and friendly It's just in front of barceloneta beach The only offending matter for me was the location because it's little bit far away from metro station and la rambala street so I had to walk long distance with my luggage

Fantastically located property; right on the beach with a close vicinity to safe and secure pubs and shops - if British try the ‘FastNet’ Irish bar. Not a more friendly, helpful and accommodating bunch around. Any Irish bar for a Brit is perfect. This hostel was amazing with the 24/7 service - breakfast is not included although stated otherwise, but what is €3.50 for a good meal for the day. If language barriers between guests isn’t an issue, among etiquette differences, please stay here. Although, you will get annoyed at late night club era that don’t understand sleep schedules, the actual location and service is amazing!

Lovely staff and area

Beautiful area to stay right on the beach front. Lovely staff who always made the effort to say hello when they saw you. Didn't appreciate having a couple getting amorous in a dorm next to mine. So not having sound proofed rooms was the only downside. But I love staying in Safestay Hostels especially when I go abroad. Am looking at Madrid as my next little adventure.

It was nice to be right infront of the beach,

Michaela and her stuff where amassing, everything was great except that the bathrooms didn't get clean and refresh daily , but I enjoyed that also was close to everything, it was a hub for all my activities, cheers

Amazing Location. Pity about everything else.

Room was nothing like what it looked like in the pictures. My bed was on the roof of the bathroom, essentially. Others in my room had the same complaints. No information about where things are, what the services are. No lockers in the room what so ever, some in the hallway but again, nothing explained on check in. Location is 11/10, on the beach, can’t get any closer to the water than that. That is about all it has going for it.
