A really bad experience. Our room was really hot and humid, and the ventilation was off and couldn’t be turned on. We had to sleep with the (very little) windows wide open just to bring room temperature to an acceptable level and deal with humidity. That only added more noise but the property overall barely has any noise insulation. The staff were a combination of not helpful and not willing to help either. The man at the reception had what sounded like a script of “we are at 100 percent occupancy and there’s nothing I can do” (it’s Jan 11th in Barcelona and they have various hotels). He called his supervisor and all she was wondering is through which platform we made the booking, as if it made any difference. Just a dehumidifier or a fan could have solved it, which we suggested, but they were just not willing to provide a decent service. I asked to speak with the supervisor myself and was ignored. Avoid if you can.

We initially thought we’d lost a hat. The staff reviewed their video and showed us that my hubby wasn’t wearing the hat upon arrival- that was so kind and very detailed of them, accommodations and food were great. Unfortunately the hotel can have lots of outdoor noise, cars, shouting, morning work on the property.

We loved the Carlit! The ladies at the desk were so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy and the area is very walkable (pedestrian friendly). It’s close enough to all the action but far enough to be out of the main hustle and bustle. When we come to Barcelona again, we will definitely stay here.

Sheet was shorter than a bed itself. Very small room (you literally have to jump over your suitcase in order to get to the bathroom). Stuff is nice but not smiley enough to feel welcomed. I found hair on my sheet. The area is dirty and could not find any nice restaurant near my ( maybe my bad).good thing was Sagrada Familia was 15 min walking and first day stay breakfast was included. I would rather stay at some other hotel for the same price next time. I need bigger room space.and nicer environment (speaking for myself)

The rooms are clean and nicely presented with effective air conditioning (it was very hot during our stay and we were very grateful to go back to a lovely cool hotel). Very impressed with the buffet breakfast, there was a great selection on offer - our 14 year old daughter was in her element!
