Loved our stay. Hotel was nice, comfortable, and quiet with a good view and bar. However, it is the staff and service which made it exceptional. Oliver was the nicest guy ever, and helped us find our way and some fantastic recommendations. Plus we got a surprise for my other half's birthday. Can't recommend them.enough

I highly recommend this property. The staff were welcoming (especially Jo and Carlos), and there are fun, free activities (sangria making, beer tasting, live music, etc.) each night on site. The location is phenomenal - a short walk from so many great restaurants, activities, and “must-sees” of Barcelona.

This is one of the most friendly, clean, professional hotels we have stayed at in Europe. The staff was amazing and so hospitable and accommodating. Besides the comfortable rooms there is special lounge/bar/restaurant area for all the guests to use. It is on the 7th floor and on the rooftop you have beautiful views, a swimming pond (not big or heated), a luscious fully stocked bar, rooftop indoor and outdoor seating and great menu for breakfast and for anytime snacks. This is a wonderful hotel and such a great find, with reasonably priced accommodations.

The staff were so helpful, so nice. The location was totally amazing right in front of the arc de triomf and close to many popular places. The hotel itself was beautiful and I loved that theyre all about recycling and saving energy and water. The rooftop was also amazing , excellent views.

Hotel Rec was perfect for our 4 night stay in Barcelona. It is only a few moments from Arc de Triomf (monument and Metro line) and handy for the V19 bus up to Parc Guell or the beach in the other direction. The rooms were clean, modern and had everything you need. We asked for some more milk and coffee and it soon arrived. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Shout out to Oliver and Alex, who were particularly helpful. The lounge upstairs was really nice with outdoor seating, which we used a couple of times (it was only March). There was a good choice of food for breakfast. The hotel has numerous excellent restaurants near by. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the city.
