This was our first hotel of our 11 day trip. Our room was not very cool despite having the a/c on. It was clean, but the rooms seemed a bit old. It was very confident to everything, and lots of restaurants around there .

Pleasant and modern

A nice modern hotel in the Eixample neighborhood. The room was exactly as picture. Close enough to Passeig de Gracia and Placa Catalunya to walk--even Sagrada Familia with a little bit of effort. We enjoyed the huge window with a view of the courtyard and a little playground. It was good having coffee in the room, too, something that we did not find everywhere we stayed. Did not use the minibar, but appreciated the fridge. Not being Europeans, we found the shower controls a bit challenging to figure out, but eventually got it. The staff was very friendly.

Nice hotel, albeit a bit dated. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from outside and other rooms. Staff were nice and accommodate any requests. But the room was definitely not completely clean on my arrival and had some water on the floor where they may have mopped. Not bad but for the money you pay definitely expect more. This is more like a 3 star hotel.
