This property isn’t less expensive for a taxi to the airport than those hotels near the Old Town. There was nothing to do at or around the hotel. It was just as expensive as hotels near the city center.

Good overnight stop

Checked in at 01:30 in the morning - 12 mins from the airport by cab (23 Euro), spent the night had breakfast and moved on to Barcelona centre. The hostel was exactly what we needed for the first night.

It is a different type of hotel. It's clean but the eco friendly theme is a bit too much. No A/C so, you have to open the door and then... mosquitoes.

Busy and large hostel. They have people coming and going for community events all the time. Its a large concrete building and the heat wasn't adjustable by room it was just set for the building overall and set too cold for january. Breakfast was top notch though and if you are in a large group of traveller's this place would be easy. Quite a walk to the train station but worth it to save a buck.

Finding the front door was a bit of a challenge. Check in was good(don't forget your passports). Parking was around the back (unpaved). Rooms were exactly like the photo's. Patio door on room didn't appear to lock. Loved getting our picnic bags at 3:30am for breakfast on check out. There was a group of young kids in the hostel on the same floor as us when we checked it, they were quite loud. Ear plugs helped allow us to get to sleep. Although they did settle around 9pm. The shower could be a little cleaner, all the floors are tile so walking around in bare feet wasn't comfortable. Loved the focus on the UN sustainable goals and it was super convenient for a quick arrival for early morning flight. Overall I would go back. One broken tile on the 1st floor was loud when people walked over it.

This is more a community center than a youth hostel. If you are looking for a very cheap place near the airport : go but don't go if you are looking for cleanliness or comfort. This is a place to crash for a night on a low budget.

My wife and I had a 10 hour layover in Barcelona between flights. We booked a "twin room" expecting 2 single or twin beds. When we got to our room we discovered 2 sets of bunk beds with a wall between them. When I returned to reception I was told that this was our room, costing $180, or I could pay an additional 90 euros for a room with 2 beds. The room itself was more like a dorm room, or a prison, with all concrete walls and no warmth whatsover. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE!

This is a hostel, so even if you have a private room with your own bathroom, the only amenities are soap, towels & toilet paper. The room and facilities are very clean, staff is helpful, and breakfast is great! It's in a working class neighborhood that seems quite safe; not much night life around the hostel. Bring your own shampoo and it's a good value for money.

Fantastic location; very practical as this is two apartments linked together with two kitchenettes, two lounges & two balconies giving lots of flexibility of living space as a group; decor is slightly in need of attention but we had a fabulous time and would definitely book this apartment again!
