Hotel was close to good beaches, near grocery store. There were also stores and restaurants nearby. Bus stop was right by the entrance and local transportation was frequent, cheap and easy to use. Staff was friendly and helpful.

"Great location! "
We just stayed at Oceans two resort and residences and we loved it. It is very beautiful and on a quiet beach. Short walk to the Gap where the restaurants are. We normally stay at all inclusive but I prefer this experience where we get to try the local flavors and see the local people. I do not recommend any all inclusive resorts in Barbados because you will miss all the wonderful people and fun. The room was condo-style with a kitchen & washer and dryer. The Hotel staff was very friendly and the place was quite secure. Thank you for the wonderful vacation. We cant wait to go back.

"Hit and Miss"
This is an attractive, well maintained hotel that caters mainly to families. Service was very inconsistent. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Bar staff often did not know how to prepare drinks and often ignored me while I stood there watching them serve everyone else. The breakfast buffet was full of variety and very good. The seafood buffet was totally under-whelming and over-priced, so we did not eat supper at the hotel again. We had tremendous meals outside the hotel. You do need to take a bus b/c unfortunately this hotel's location does not have places to eat or shop that are reasonably within walking distance. Our room was in the older Plantation section (the original building) furthest from the beach and pool. The room was clean and otherwise OK. I missed not having a balcony though. The meandering 'lazy river' pool is very nice, but unless you have a room alongside it, there is nowhere to sit. The only poolside seating is at the main section of the pool by the restaurant. This section filled up very quickly early in the morning by families with small children, so there was never any space. The beach is small but has sufficient trees for shade, and we were usually able to find space. Swimming is not possible directly in front of the hotel since the water is very rocky and full of green algae. Walk to the left towards the Sugar Bay hotel or to the right towards the Hilton and swimming is lovely at these spots

"I want to keep this a secret"
We had an absolutely lovely stay for the 4 nights we were at The Round House. The staff are particualarly friendly, and attentive without being obtrusive. We actually got to know the owner, Gail, and Hoggie the local surf expert, and their knowledge made our time all the more enjoyable by guiding us to some areas we otherwise would not have found on our own. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel, in fact, we look forward to it.

"Close to the beach"
The hotel is very near the beach. Swimming pool is beautiful and cozy. The rooms are VERY noisy though. Food can be so much better both in quality and cost. Customer service was good, not excellent, some issues with check in and check out processes. Chacra Spa reflexology therapist was awesome! Well, I guess that it was an acceptable stay.

"Lovely hotel on the beach. The staff was great!"
The hotel was clean, in good condition and the staff could NOT have been nicer. The food was good. The island is very nice and the local people are friendly and helpful. There are buses and vans just outside the hotel that go to different parts of the island. The fare is the equivalent of $1. It's cheap enough. You'll save lots of money by not taking taxis all the time. If you can get a reservation, go. You will not be disappointed.

"Reasonable accommodations in expensive Barbados."
Decent hotel across a busy road from a public beach. Rooms are basic and a bit outdated, but clean. The wifi worked. A nice quiet pool area. For some reason, a dog either on premises or nearby barked a lot, even late at night. Restaurant is not recommended, the continental breakfast was barely adequate and one poor young girl was trying to take care of the whole place.

Barbados is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Barbados, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Barbados hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
