We stayed here before, and liked to renovations. The room was exactly as the pics. I found the bed a little firmer than I prefer, but ok. I was disappointed to find that the exercise room that was listed on the website, does not exist. They should have updated their website, as that was very disappointing.

We had a good stay at The Red Carpet in Banff, the room was clean and the staff were friendly. Theses are two important things for us. The hotel was having some renovations being done, there was minimal effect to us. The elevator was not in use but that was fine.

The fact that we could go 'hot tub jumping' was fabulous. The front desk called ahead to the other location/s and they welcomed us since they have connections to quite a few of the other lodges (the only one which did not welcome us was Hidden Ridge Resort - nasty person at front desk).
We had paid for an upgraded room and the front desk made sure we received a lovely room with a mountain view and a balcony. Breakfast every morning was a treat and the bartender at night was always in a great mood. Thank you front desk, breakfast crew & bartender! We hated to leave you all, you made us feel very welcome.

It was ok, nothing terrible, nothing outstanding. I think the red carpet is owned by the same chain. It is next door and a little cheaper. I don't think the two hotels are far off in condition, comfort and cleanliness.

The room was spacious, with gas fire place and balcony. There was a jetted tub in the bathroom, which was great after winter hiking. There was in-floor heating in bathroom and entrance.
The view from balcony was quite nice.

My family stayed here for 5 days, the staff were all great especially in the lounge area.
Our room was a nice size and the bathroom was lovely but the rest of the room felt a bit dated, which I would have had no problem with if it was cleaned better.
On check in our room was pretty good but during the week it went down hill.... things like vacuuming, dusting and garbage cans being emptied just didn't happen.
However our overall stay was great and I would probably try this hotel again.
