The signage out front was very small and limited making it challenging to find the front door. The staff was fine but the hallways smelled of marijuana during my entire stay.

We have stayed at other much more expensive hotels in the Inner Harbor area. We found that the Sonesta was not just more reasonable but more comfortable and friendlier than the others. We decided to extend our stay and we will stay here again in the future.

The Sonesta Hotel Baltimore Inner Harbor was a pleasant surprise. It offers a fantastic stay with its comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and convenient location. The hotel is within walking distance of popular attractions like the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards, making it perfect for both leisure and business travelers. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, and the on-site amenities add to the overall experience. Great value for the price—I would definitely stay here again!

A good value for the money

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was fairly close to the convention center where we were attending a trade show. Everything was clean. The hotel was well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is not much to speak of. Tea and coffee with a lot of prepackaged muffins and Danish. There were also bagels, bread and English muffins. The only thing I found disappointing about this hotel was the constant smell of marijuana in the halls and in the lobby. I suspect some of the guests and possibly the automobile valets were outside smoking and brought the lingering smell into the lobby. I do not think the smell in the hallways on the floor which we were residing could be attributed to something that was being done outside. Clearly some guests were smoking in their rooms. For the price, I thought this hotel was a great value and I will definitely stay here again when the necessity arises.

Blooming in Baltimore

My room was huge. The bathroom was spotless. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the two housekeepers whom I saw were very sweet. The only area seriously needing improvement is breakfast: 1) it consisted entirely of carbs (no protein) and 2) the breakfast lady couldn't have cared less about her job. She wasn't even there when I arrived at around 9:37 and there was almost no coffee left; and when she did appear, she just looked at her phone.

Had to switch rooms after seeing hand prints on head board. Second room had dirty bathroom walls and one of the shower towels had a long dark hair in it. The front door handle was really loose . Customer service was very helpful. I just choose not to complain about the second room. Was only there for 2 nights. Beds seemed clean.
