Augustenborg Palace hotels in Sonderjylland, Denmark

We enjoyed our stay at Tonderhus, however, the room was extremely hot, and had no window to allow airflow. So we had to open a patio door, but the only security was a 3 ft tall railing and a hedge.... The room cooled off nice with the door open, and the patio door open, but at night we closed them and the room got warm again...

Very pleasant staff and restaurant (closes at 9pm). Hotel rooms were clean and peaceful.

Hotel was overall OK. Only thing I notice wrong was the room walls was a little too dirty and the carpet in my room had a big stain by the window ( looked like some sort of spill or vomit). Other then that the Hotel was great.

We loved this new and modern hotel very much. The rooms are great and also have a lot of cabinets and closets to store everything away. Good beds and bedding. We also loved their breakfast. They offer a great variety and prepare eggs on request - and offer a lot of sides. We didn't had other meals at the hotel. The Lobby and bar area is very comfy with the fireplace and seating areas.

By far the best hotel I've been in on my tour. Found the owners to be very good hosts and making me feel at home. Hotels location is not far from the shops but far enough to be nicely set in the country side. When I go this away again in a couple of years time I'm going to make sure I stay for a few nights again. Rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. Theme park attached to the hotel I didn't use but looked good from the outside. Looking out the window there was a kids play park so good place to let the kids burn off some energy. Excellent stay and the owners are a credit to the hotel industry
