Hotel has gone downhill due to management

This hotel is no longer 5 star. It has gone downhill in all aspects, it's clear to me that this is poor management and not the general day to day employees. Breakfast service has almost no variety and it seems management have cut costs everywhere. Rooms becoming outdated, wifi is trash you need to download their special app. Overall the hotel is way overpriced for what it is.

The staff truly made this property 5 star, the lobby and surrounding areas were in beautiful condition. We were upgraded to the Suite which was very much appreciated. I found the suite was very spacious. the shower in the bathtub and the amenities weren't quite the 5 star experience I would have expected, however everything was in good working order and the staff went above and beyond to assist me with an early check in.

Great location. Excellent pool area & gym, sauna, steam room. Friendly check in staff who helped me with some challenges. Comfortable bed, quiet rooms. Great on site bar. My only recurring concern at this property is the breakfast area, it seems overwhelmed & understaffed at busy times which simply seem to be unavoidable at any times recently. Also the chef does his own thing regardless of my order.

The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Service is excellent. The only work is the food - ordered a “pork belly mac & cheese” for kids at $17 a pop and it was ham. Other items we had were quite average for standard prices. We were there for my daughter to have an operation up the road so spent majority of the time at the hotel. The pool area is fantastic and kept my son entertained for hours. This is our third stay and we will be back.

The atmosphere is stunning, the staff was helpful, and the room was luxurious. Only downfall was not being able to get through to room service, but upon getting my DoorDash order I saw it was packed. However, what made up for it was the breakfast buffet. It was phenomenal and by far the best breakfast I’ve had. Period.
