I like the staff and how close everything is to the hotel. I don’t like that there was a white stain on the cushion, shower pressure was absolutely terrible. It was hard to find a good temperature as it kept going so hot. Definitely time for a new shower head.

Avani Metropolis - spacious and friendly

I always enjoy staying at the Avni Metropolis. The front desk is friendly and welcoming. Compared to other hotels, the Avani Metropolis is very spacious. Although there are no on-site restaurants, the rooms are equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, and numerous cafes and restaurants are nearby.

Usually great. Not so much, this time

We generally have a great check in and seamless entry to the room. This time, we were told the room was ready, the card didn’t work for the lift and had to be reprogrammed, then when we arrived to the room housekeeping were still there. The room was not ready. We asked for the room to be made up and it was delayed and then when undertaken, very sloppy. I may as well have just pulled the sheets over! No care at all.
