We stayed for 2 nights. Four generations of a family in the place. Great for young children — a lot of places to explore. Pretty landscaping. The hotel was very clean. Nice guests. We were amazed by the number of high profile and famous people who gad at some point stayed there, incl. Biden and Trump.

Have stayed at Seaview many times. This time our room wasn’t the best. Air conditioning was an issue, had a small problem with our toilet and the light wasn’t working, but maintenance came and fixed. Weather was not good so didn’t have the chance to enjoy the pool or outside activities. Would recommend staying here but not on the second floor. Staff is exceptional!!!

The staff was terrific and I could tell upon arriving that this was a place with a long history of good service. I think Wyndham is doing this property a disservice by not investing in its upkeep. It’s a beautiful property, but we noticed a lot of areas that need attention. Our room had spots where the paint had worn off. The elevators were operable but looked like they could use some refurbishment and maintenance. I liked our visit but it would be nice if the corporate owners would invest in this beautiful property.

When we arrived we were met by valet which was great! When the valet saw we had our furry family member along we were told guests with pets use the employee entrance in the back of the building.WHAT?? When we checked in we were asked for $100 pet fee - didn't see that in the fine print. Expedia sells a pet friendly room and mentions nothing of a pet fee. That should at least be mentioned when booking...the hotel and Expedia should get it together on that one. I don't mind paying a pet fee BUT the carpet in our room had a large stain from a previous guest...pee stain maybe? The breakfast buffet was nice - we didn't receive coffee until we were nearly finished with our meal. From the road the venue is lovely - I booked this room expecting a luxury hotel. Compared to places I've stayed - this hotel was average.
