I had a wonderful stay at The Brookhaven Atlanta Hotel. The location is a 15–20-minute drive from downtown Atlanta. The room was spacious. The king bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of room to move around. The layout made it feel even more expansive. The room had a desk area, which was perfect for getting some work done, and the sofa made for a comfortable place to sit and relax. The large windows provided natural light, making the room feel bright and airy. I also liked the coffee station area—it was great to have my morning coffee right there without needing to go anywhere. The bathroom was nice and had great lighting, which is always a plus when getting ready in the mornings. It had plenty of space, and everything was clean. The gym was well-maintained and had lots of equipment for a workout. The outdoor pool looked amazing, though I didn’t get the chance to enjoy it during my stay. I also liked that the hotel has a restaurant on the 1st floor. It’s convenient if you’re looking to grab a meal without having to drive somewhere, and they offer takeout options for those on the go. Plus, their daily happy hour was a nice touch to relax after a busy day. A special shout-out to the front desk staff—they were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. Their positive attitude really added to the overall great experience. Overall, I had an enjoyable time and will definitely stay here again if I’m back in town!

Overall worth the money the rooms need to be updated but it’s ok for a quick stay.The DoubleTree hotel signs need to be removed.The safe wasn’t working to storage important items from being touched when you gone.The snack vending area is expensive and not a wide selection. Pool should close at midnight instead of 10pm.Housekeeping don’t change the beds until you checkout,We thought it should’ve been changed during our 5 day stay.We didn’t use the workout room but it looked nice.Staff was friendly.Breakfast was fair.Bed was comfortable.The Iron had a burn spot and a shortage.l most mess up my outfit so be careful,Minutes away from shopping areas.I will stay again it was a reasonably priced and good area.

What I like about the property that every staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean the beds were very clean the only thing that I did not like that it did not have a pop machine or a chip machine and a lot what I like about in the morning you can get up and go down and get you some breakfast

The overall stay was good we started in room 817 only complaints were that the floor near the entrance of the room was slippery on arrival and stayed like that for most of the stay not sure what that was about but it wasn’t a serious issue the light from the pool shined directly in the room at night but we just closed the blinds also the road noise near the pool and room was a bit annoying other than that everything was good as it should be would stay again just in a different room

HORRIBLE HOTEL AVOID - NEEDS RENOVATION

The Brookhaven Hotel needs to be renovated. Although it is a central location, it is surrounded by abandoned businesses. Customer Service is non-existent, the rooms are filthy, the hotel is filthy, most of the guests live there or are homeless & staying for a night or two. The hallways wreak of marijuana & if it wasn't for the breakfast offered, this hotel would receive a 1 star review. The room was filthy & has a mildewy musty stench. The couch was filthy. I requested extra sheets to lay on the furniture pieces in order to sit down. The room also had fleas from maybe a previous guest with an animal. The pool is filthy & not maintained; use at your own risk. This was a horrible stay and I will never return.

Never again!

No A/C in the whole place. Sweaty and humid all the way through the building. Not enough staff to help facilitate guests needs. Smelly and dirty elevators, smelly and dirty halls. Decently clean room but A/C would not go down. The last straw was hearing roadwork pierce through the ninth floor after midnight, making it impossible to get any sleep! One last thing: photos are misleading. The sign on the outside doesn’t even say the hotel’s name and if it weren’t for the cars in the parking lot the building would look shut down.

The receptionist that checked is in was awesome. I called night receptionist and requested someone look at our A/C. They never showed. Water didnt get very hot.
