The building itself is OLD. The owners need to put some money into their building and give it a SERIOUS UPGRADE! They do the BARE MINIMUM at this location, it’s the perfect location if you are looking for a cheap place to lay your head for a single night but do NOT book this location if you are staying longer than one night!

Great for a quick two nighter to visit the aquarium and zoo. Small minor things could be improved like the cleanliness of the elevators (sticky floors and the same trash in the corner our entire stay) and investment in small things like untarnished handles on the furniture. Room itself was clean and price was reasonable.

Nice staff, decent breakfast, but god awful conditions of the room and building. Incredibly dirty, to an unhygienic level. So poorly maintained it was almost unbelievable. Plugs would literally fall out of the wall outlets. Very little lighting in the rooms. Somehow every single ice machine in the entire building was not working for the duration of our stay. Was warned by no less than 4 Uber drivers that this is an incredibly bad part of town, and that we absolutely should not venture outside of the hotel, even during the day. When we first pulled up to the hotel there were what appeared to be homeless people camped outside. Do not under any circumstances stay here.

We reserved a smoke free room for our visit, after check in we took the elevator to our 6th floor room. The entire 6th floor smelled of marijuana when we reached it. After entering our room I immediately observed cigarette burns in the carpet in several places. When getting ready for bed I pulled away the comforter which revealed potato chip crumbs on top of the sheets.. Between these experiences, the unknown fluids on the floor of the elevator, and visible water damage on the rooms popcorn ceiling we’ve filed a report with the local health department.. I’ve never had to do this before, we’re reaching out with Expedia to start a chargeback based on how many issues were present.

Clean, but unimpressive.

They didn’t have our room type available. The refrigerator was on, but not cold. It was clean, a bit rough: lots of burned specks in the bathroom counter. The bed seemed near end of life. Daytime desk staff was very nice. Check in lady was unconcerned about the room type and refrigerator. Breakfast: waffles and juice good, everything else was meh.

Right off the interstate the parking lot was terrible inside smelled like urine and cigarettes the bed that came with the room had dirty socks and large black stains on the bedding staff wasn’t much help
