"Fabulous hotel with a great location"
This is a fabulous hotel, our room was absolutely fantastic with a great view of las Amaerricas and the sea. The hotel staff were so pleasant and friendly they couldn't do enough for you. The hotel amenities were excellent. The food was first class. The hotel grounds were fabulous and so tranquil, the hotel was totally relaxing. The only thing we found people eat out rather than eat in the hotel which was a shame. Overall a fabulous hotel

"Well looked after."
Welcomed back by reception and the porters- a nice touch. Given a glass of Cava on arrival and although we where 3/4 of an hour early- given the use of a courtesy room to change. Shortly after one room was ready. Staff go out of way to help you- photocopying medical certificate as well as printing off boarding passes. Buffet breakfast was excellent and made good use of coffee shop which sold a wide variety of food and drinks. New- had to show your room card each time when signing for items to be added to your bill ( if that's you wanted to do). Wednesday is foam party so beds get taken very earlier- great band plays during water aerobics and later on the terrace. Would recommend this hotel from families to couples. Look out for staff from Beach bar on the prom who where given out flyers for half price cocktails Tues- Sun 6-9.00 o clock. Very good cocktails but expensive for food compared to others.

"Perfect quiet oasis"
This was our third stay in Sir Anthony and there have been improvements that we hadn't realised were needed - well perhaps one was needed! Firstly the accommodation is still as good as ever, the rooms are very comfortable, we opt for a ground floor room for easy access to the pool, housekeeping are efficient and friendly. The one improvement that was needed was wifi, this is now very acceptable, a good signal that was not dropped at all during our stay. Other improvements made were to the bar and restaurant where a G&T trolley is now available - a good selection of different gins and different tonics. Breakfast also now includes a luxury buffet with Champagne! All in all another fab week for us and we will hopefully be back next year!

"Value for money"
The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the beach, but it has its own pool. Overall, it offers value for money, as it is not expensive. We had gone for half board (breakfast and dinner included) and the food was quite tasty with a lot of different options. However, the dining room can get quite hot and staff are not always willing to open windows to let fresh air in. A lot of British tourists stay here, not always the most refined type and some of them can be quite rowdy, especially around the pool area. It's a 15 minute taxi drive from Tenerife Sur airport (it costs around 26 euros), so it's well connected. My main gripe about the room is the fact that there is only 1 plug to charge your phone and indeed hidden inside a cupboard. They should definitely add more plugs, especially next to beds. Other than that, the room offered all amenities you'd expect: TV with English, French, German, Italian and Spanish channels, A/C, complimentary toiletries and towels, etc. Our room overlooked the sea (which is a 10 minute walk), but others overlook the pool or the main road. The hotel staff was quite friendly, but some of them didn't speak English well at all. The sunbeds in the pool area can get occupied from the morning, so sometimes it can be tricky to find a spare sunbed. Playa de las Americas is not a very large resort anyway, so everything is within a 15 minute walking distance. The coach station is also close, maybe a 10 minute walk. The beaches are not bad, but the water is cold.

"Ok hotel next to beach"
Perfect hotel to retreat after roamnig around the island. Some of the restaurant staff feels like they are wardens in the peniteciary after my wife went inside @ dinner time without the inclusive band aroun her wrist asking for a glass of water to take a pill, this gent held her at the bar untill I came looking for her and paid for her glass of draft coke with my credit card, cash not accepted!! But apart for that, no other issues. Perfect place, cheap and convenient!

Arona is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Arona, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Arona hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
