"Excellent Location"
Rooms comfortable clean and a lovely size hotel very relaxing, staff attentive. The only thing I would change about the Cleopatra hotel is to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We have had a fabulous holiday and will be using the hotel again.

"Perfect Getaway"
Stayed here a week in early October to celebrate our anniversary. Chose the bed and breakfast option as we planned on getting out and about on some days. Worked out great. Had an amazing week. Room was good (5th floor facing the ocean with stunning views). Breakfast and dinner buffet selections were extensive and well prepared. Lunch buffet is by the pool but if not on the all all inclusive, you must order from a la carte, which is still good. Two a la carte specialty dinner restaurants were good also yet remarkably similar in menu selections (Spanish/Italian). Drink prices are pretty standard yet pours are very generous. Staff were excellent and very responsive across the board. Exceptionally well maintained and clean resort. Only a few downsides to the resort. Mini bar in room will not be unlocked(if you wish to store personal items) unless one of three "packages" is paid for in advance which includes water/beer and pop at overpriced cost. Ample sun loungers in many areas yet unless you rise early and drop your towels on them (steak a claim), they get eaten up pretty quickly. Resort policy of one hour unattended towels being removed is NOT enforced. You can rent wonderful semi private dat beds for two which are either pool or ocean side, which we did a couple of days and loved them but they are relatively pricey. Resort is a touch isolated compared to other locations however if you plan on staying put and taking day trips, it works great. Overall, great resort. Will return.

"10 Day Half Board stay - WiFi needs work."
First time we stayed in this Hotel, in short it was great, some parts of the hotel are showing signs of wear and tear but it does not remove anything from the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great in the buffet and cannot be faulted. They had enough variety to make it work and a varied range of food for all tastes, the only gripe was that you could not bring in your own drinks and has to purchase their's. Their is a supermarket literally next door and its a short 15 min walk to the beach. The only concerns are firstly the WiFi, when it works its great but seriously you could spend up to 2 hours a day just trying to connect...And secondly despite the hotel rule against it, if you don't get your towel down on a seat by the pool by 9 am then forget about getting a spot. The staff do not enforce the rule disallowing this and appear to encourage the practice, so if you like to spend your day by the pool then be prepared to get up early... Despite these issues we will consider returning, and when the new suite hotel is build next door run by the same company we would also consider this as the location is great and the quality is very good.

"Great hotel right on the coast"
We had a very relaxed holiday here. The hotel is right on the edge of the ocean between the fishing village of Los Abrigos and the residential area of San Miguel. We were early but didn't have to wait for check in, and were also given a free room upgrade. The staff were very welcoming and polite, the hotel and rooms are absolutely spotlessly clean. Our room had 2 bedrooms, a big bathroom and a spacious main room, with sofa and arm chairs. This led onto the balcony which was large, had a sea view i.e. right on top of the ocean, and a table and chairs on it. All areas of the room had independent air conditioning and were really nicely decorated and furnished. It also contained plenty of wardrobe space, drawers, a safe, TV and fridge/mini bar. The hotel lobby and dining room were very clean and stylish. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis - the quality and range of the breakfast was excellent, you could have as much as you wanted. There was a choice of cooked, either full English type or Spanish variation on this, cereals, fruit, cheese and meats, yogurts, rolls/baked goods/cakes, hot drinks, juices, and there was always a chef there who would cook you pancakes/omelettes to order. The hotel had a great swimming pool and patio area which is right on the waters edge. There are two patio areas on different levels, plenty of sun loungers, free beach size towels and incredible views over the ocean. Would have no hesitation in recommending to family/friends and would stay again.

"Value for money"
The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the beach, but it has its own pool. Overall, it offers value for money, as it is not expensive. We had gone for half board (breakfast and dinner included) and the food was quite tasty with a lot of different options. However, the dining room can get quite hot and staff are not always willing to open windows to let fresh air in. A lot of British tourists stay here, not always the most refined type and some of them can be quite rowdy, especially around the pool area. It's a 15 minute taxi drive from Tenerife Sur airport (it costs around 26 euros), so it's well connected. My main gripe about the room is the fact that there is only 1 plug to charge your phone and indeed hidden inside a cupboard. They should definitely add more plugs, especially next to beds. Other than that, the room offered all amenities you'd expect: TV with English, French, German, Italian and Spanish channels, A/C, complimentary toiletries and towels, etc. Our room overlooked the sea (which is a 10 minute walk), but others overlook the pool or the main road. The hotel staff was quite friendly, but some of them didn't speak English well at all. The sunbeds in the pool area can get occupied from the morning, so sometimes it can be tricky to find a spare sunbed. Playa de las Americas is not a very large resort anyway, so everything is within a 15 minute walking distance. The coach station is also close, maybe a 10 minute walk. The beaches are not bad, but the water is cold.

Tenerife is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Tenerife, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Tenerife hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
