"Clean well looked after friendly hotel"
No aspects of this hotel let it down. Food was very good (although for an all inclusive stay longer than a week the dinner menu could get repetitive), all inclusive option covered everything on the menu which was nice (rather than only offering a cut down menu as sometimes happens), staff very friendly, pools very nice especially the infinity pool at the top of the hill which was rarely used in the mornings (we went there four mornings and were the only ones up there), regular free shuttles to too beaches (where there was an arrangement with the local cafe at the beach for free food and drink if you were on the all inclusive package) and clean rooms in good condition and tastefully decorated.

"Upper scale resort"
We were greeted by almost everyone including the manager, very friendly environment, many little things that made this a top notch resort like Orchids in room, your own cooler with water on beach, afternoon tea on beach, many very comfortable lounges and cabanas, gardens and landscaping were meticulous. Spa services were enjoyable as well. Very clean overall, food was expensive but high quality, full menu with many choices for breakfast (included in room fee) . Library was very nice and good selection of things to borrow to read on beach. ALWAYS someone available to help you with reservations, ideas, etc It was really a very enjoyable and memorable trip and will almost certainly return, maybe this time with the kids!

"Nice staff. The food was good lots of choices. "
The hotel staff was nice. The food was good plenty to eat. Beach was clean no garbage at all. My only issue would be to clean the men's room by the pool more often. Oh and wifi is only in some rooms. Lastly do not rent a car and drive here the islands roads are in need of major repairs. Erosion from heavy rains. Dangerous take a cab.

"My stay at Antigua Vikkage"
It was a warm and relaxing experience, the staff was friendly and attentive and most important honest. I left my 3 carat diamond in the bathroom and remembers when I was at the airport. When I called the hotel I was told it was found by the rm attendant and turned in. I was able to retrieve it before leaving the Island. Happily! I might add.

"Nice hotel on the beach"
Simple hotel with clean rooms and facilities. I would give it a 3* as opposed to 4*. Room amenities were basic but nice. Food is decent, but again basic/simple (including buffet breakfast). Bar staff were very friendly. We only stayed for 1 night due to our flight timings, which was fine for us, but I would not choose to stay here for an extended relaxing break in Antigua. The beaches are meant to be much nicer in the south/west too.

"Idyllic retreat"
We had a wonderful break at Yepton Cottages. A tranquil hideaway of simple cottages in a garden. We had the largest cottage with a gigantic bed in a separate bedroom with aircon, a bathroom, lounge and dining area and small but effective kitchen. The veranda was our favourite spot for long lazy breakfasts watching the birds on the salt lake, afternoon lazing in the hammock, or long barbecue dinners. The beach is a short stroll away, and usually almost deserted - with dozens of others around the island to explore too. Gaby and Douglas were extremely helpful, taking us to the supermarket on the first day to stock up, providing excellent sightseeing information, arranging restaurant and taxi bookings and striking the balance between friendliness and giving us peace and quiet alone. I would recommend Yepton Cottages to anyone looking for comfortable, quiet, self-catering in Antigua.

Antigua is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Antigua, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Antigua hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
