We had a wonderful experience at Hotel El Carmen in Antigua Guatemala! From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained. Our room was cleaned very well, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping everything fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed having great meals right at the hotel. It was convenient and made our stay even better. But what truly stood out was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, welcoming, and professional. Their excellent service really made us feel taken care of and made our stay special. If you are planning a trip to Antigua Guatemala and looking for a place that is clean, comfortable, has good food, and has wonderful staff, I would definitely recommend Hotel El Carmen. Thank you to the entire team at Hotel El Carmen for making our stay so enjoyable! We would definitely stay again. 🇬🇹

This is a terrible property. They require a no refund policy in order to book so you’re pretty much stuck even if their facility is trash. The room was so small and so hot. It was suffocating and no AC in the room. I don’t know how this room would be considered livable. I did didn’t even stay. I walked out, handed in the key and left. There’s nothing they could’ve done to make this tolerable. It was unbelievable. I would’ve literally died It’s also unreal that in a hot location like Antigua for someone not to have AC.

Great little place in town. However, it may be a bit hot during the summer with no AC. However, must hotels in town donor have AC. Nonetheless, the hotel is cute. Close to everything. Really cozy.
