Not a hotel . . Disappointed

From the first second we walked into the basic check-in area that has no toilets nor is a proper hotel lobby , to the morning we left, we felt we had made a huge mistake to book this place . The lady who checked us in spoke pigeon English & was not helpful at all about info related to the place . She must have skipped charm school ¬ attended customer service lessons . The room was adequate in size. Plastic chairs on the balcony. No fridge , no microwave & no amenities at the check in office other than a shop and 2 food trucks . This place is Not a hotel . Camp ground with a few rooms .we Were told to cross the road if we needed to use the restrooms. Cross the highway and go to the lodge across the road ? Really ? I would recommend that place , Denali village. We paid a high price for a dated place with no amenities at all . ½ h free internet did not work . Extra 7$/h for internet. Too many People seem to want to visit Denali which is making it extortionate and not value for money . This place did not have happy staff at front desk nor offer anything much . So un-American . We had breakfast at the Denali village which was better than nothing. We paid almost $1500/4 n. Such a shame we had paid in advance . There are other places that are much better for that kind of money . Motel standards are better

Great respite after a cruise.

A first class resort in a great location. It was the perfect place to spend a couple of days after a cruise and before a visit to the Alaska interior. Comfortable large room and warm modern yet lodgelike decor. We ate at Seven Glaciers atop the mountain and went to the tesort’s amazing Nordic spa. The town and village had some great eateries and a funky vibe.

The bed and room were comfortable. Service was not very great in the restaurant or at the front desk. They seemed understaffed. I went to eat a buffet breakfast. It took 15-20 minutes for anyone to bring me coffee or even notice me. They do have a shuttle that goes into Girdwood and drops you off at local spots to eat or shop. Only stayed here one night.

We have stayed at Alyeska many times prior to 2019. It was AWESOME. It is clear that current ownership is all about making money as opposed to reinvesting. The staff is still well trained and customer oriented. Building is dirty on outside and dated, poorly maintained inside. Chef is not in touch with consumers.

Location, location, location! Asian sushi restaurant - all excellent. Forte restaurant- terrible food. Room service - SLOW. ROOM- clean and very comfortable. Overall stay, very good!

We had a great one night stay. So much to do on the property- we took the tram to the top- had some drinks and lunch at the top and took several great hikes. The rooms were large and comfortable. We had an amazing dinner at the sushi restaurant and wonderful cocktails at the bar. We would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous ski resort that is amazing in the summer! Beautiful views, fun Tram ride to great viewing areas. Several restaurants. Definitely could use more gluten free options at every restaurant. I settled for GF pasta last night, and tomato soup tonight!

Overall an excellent stay. The location was very nice. Nordic spa was great but did have several features unavailable during our stay. Dinner at Seven Glaciers was superb. Dinner at Sakura was good. Food at Forte was not terrible but would not go back again. Disappointed only one of the Veilbreaker bridges was open due to snow on 2nd bridge area but really thrilling to do the open one. Highlight of the stay was the couples massage!
