Staff is very helpful and friendly. The area seems very safe. The city of Eagle River is a great little town. Lots of places to see and hike close by. We really liked Thunderbird Falls, a short drive away.

Queen standard room was sooo small. Maybe 2.5’ on either side of bed. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious for the size of room. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was pretty basic continental style. At almost $200/night did not feel it was a good value for the money.

This hotel is a disaster. Listing said it had air conditioning, it ddid not. Pillows i room were horrible. No fridge or hair dryer in room. Overall condition was terrible. Breakfast was a joke, one coffee carafe did not work. Yougurt ran out. Outside parking lot look like a construction site. Dome exterior doors did not lock. The price for this location is ridiculous. This is a $49 a night hotel at besg. Would never ever tell someone to consider this place even if it was free.

The walls and floors were filthy. The shower had three different types of hair on the wall (obviously not clean). We booked a room for four people but they only had sheets on one bed, 2 pillows and 2 towels. Service was slow. There wasn't enough breakfast for everyone. A few bagels, one toaster and 2 yogurts with 15 people down there trying to figure out what to eat. Also the curtains were broken and half hanging down, which didn't block the sun that's up almost all the time in June in Alaska.

The hotel was reasonably priced but rather worn out. We arrived after midnight and the person at the reception wasn’t really friendly. Breakfast was very simple and the room was small and smelled of dampness. Ok for one night but wouldn’t stay again.

Hotel in poor condition, shower dripped all night. Parking in short supply, hotel also housing long term residents. Room shabby and not appointed well. Drapes falling down and carpet stained. This hotel should not be listed by hotels.com or part of the Microtel chain.

The staff was very friendly. However, mildew smelled throughout the room, even with the windows open all night. We received no soap. The breakfast was not great; it lacked eggs and protein, offering only cold bagels, pancakes, and waffles you warmed up yourself.

Don’t take room 116.

The front desk person was kind enough to let us check in early as my wife was feeling ill. We were in room 116. Right under the bowling alley. Either that or maybe a lumberjack booted stompfestvwas going on. Not sure which. It went on for quite some time. Whoever was making all the noise finally gave out and we were able to get some sleep.

Property was okay except for the renovated shower. The curtain drops straight down into the narrow tub. The curtain "constantly" moves inward and sticks to your body wherever it touches. Had to move the curtain over 2 dozen times during a short shower. It could be fixed by flipping the shower rod hanger 180 degrees, which would pull the curtain slightly outward and eliminate most of this problem. I had stayed here about 8 times before. I will not be going here again until I hear that they have addressed this problem.

Dirty. There was a wet towel hanging in the bathroom. The bathtub was dirty with soap scum. Water dripped from the tub all night! I got up to take a shower and couldnt get it to work so no shower here. Not worth the 140.00 and the 1/2 it took me to get there.no TV servuce today 5-31-25. Bought a bittle of water fron the water machine and it was warm. Not a good experience !
