Smelly room and mobility reduced for young family

I was checked in a room with reduced mobility and I didn’t get a bathtub. To top it all off. There was a huge smell coming from the bathroom. It smelled like sewage . We arrived at 11 pm with young children. So only after unpacking we realized the room issues. Especially the smell after taking out showers. The next morning. Service repair shows up to fix the smell issue. I never called them , they knew already about the issue but decided to go ahead and still give out the room. On top of it we had a do not disturb not to wake our young children , but they still knocked on the door. After I went to front desk and mentioned them my issue . They offered to change me rooms. Told them to fix the smell and I would accept the room as is. Due to unpacking and repacking for 2 days more wasn’t worth the trouble. At the end they offered zero compensation and just apologized. They were never able to tell me why they rented me a room that had a severe smell issue on top of it t was not the room as I requested and reserved.

Our recent stay at the Westin Anaheim Resort during our Disneyland trip was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made us feel warmly welcomed and completely taken care of. Every detail—from the modern, spacious rooms to the top-tier amenities—was designed with comfort and convenience in mind, making it the ideal home base for a family vacation. The location couldn't have been more perfect. Being just a short walk to Disneyland and California Adventure meant we could easily pop back to the hotel for a midday break, which was a lifesaver with little ones in tow. The hotel’s Disney-facing rooms even offered stunning views of the nightly fireworks—truly magical! The rooms themselves were immaculate and beautifully appointed, with incredibly comfortable beds, ample space for families, and thoughtful touches like soundproofing and blackout curtains (perfect after a long day in the parks!). The pool area was a great place for the kids to unwind, and the fitness center was impressive, too. We also appreciated the on-site dining options—delicious food with great variety, and the service was always top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, from helping with park tips to making our kids feel extra special. If you're planning a Disneyland vacation and want luxury, comfort, and convenience all in one, the Westin Anaheim Resort is truly unbeatable. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

I stayed at this property as I was attending a conference at Disneyland. It was walkable to the conference center at the Disneyland property resort and Downtown Disney, but I could leave the parks and conference and feel like I was at a tropical resort all on its own. I will absolutely stay at this property again if I find myself needing accommodations in the Anaheim area.
