Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
Rooms are stuffy. Temp in rooms is set by hotel.
We checked in for a one night stay after spending the full day at Disneyland.
We got into our room, turned the thermostat down and got ready for bed. The AC unit turned on but only blew out room temperature air. We decided to give the unit some time to work but after not feeling any improvement for some time, we called the front desk to ask for some help with working the thermostat. The attendant explained the temperature of the rooms is set by the hotel and cannot be adjusted to your comfort level from the rooms. They tried to explain they set the temperature to match the temperature outside, this night it was 58 degrees outside, so we should be able to get the room to cool down to 58 degrees. That’s not true, we did everything the advised to do with the thermostat to get the room cooler but the air coming out of the vents never got colder and the temperature of the room never dropped less than 69 degrees.. the only solution the front desk staff had was to bring us an old tower fan that wobbled and made a grinding sound when oscillating to help cool the room down. The room never got any cooler, we had to sleep with our balcony door open all night to try and cool the room down. Do not waste your money on this hotel unless you like stuffy rooms or sleeping with your patio door open and listening to noise from the street all night. I recommend staying at the Hotel Indigo or the Wyndham instead of this hotel, these places have never let me down on previous trips toDisney.
