Excellent location.

Excellent location in centre of Amsterdam. Hotel was quiet despite having room on main street. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free teas & coffees available in foyer. Room was very spacious.

I have stayed in this hotel twice. Once for three months. I have always been satisfied with the property. The remodel looks great! Breakfast was fantastic! You guys have stepped up your game. Excellent staff and location. I heard a guest complain that the staircase was too narrow and steep, but the hotel has an elevator for bags and those who don't like the exercise. I view the staircase as authentic euro living (all the older building have steep stairs) and thought they were a plus.

The hotel seems to be new. Bedrooms and facilities are in excellent conditions. The breakfast and the restaurant were very good. Accessibility is a challenge though. The elevator is too small (3 people) and the stairs are very steep. Very challenging for seniors to use the stairs in case of emergency.

This hotel was a big disappointment. The room was tiny, had NO AC, and smelled bad as soon as we walked in. The bedsheets smelled AWFUL, like they hadn’t been washed in a long time. You can see other reviews about this place. The elevator was so small it only fit one person, and we still had to carry our bags up the stairs. On the first night, someone tried to open our door at 3 am., which made us feel unsafe. I tried to call the frontdesk but no one answer. During ours stay, It was so hot that we had to leave the window open, and my child ended up with mosquito bites. None of us could sleep. We booked three nights but after found out they have no AC we decided to stay only one. The front desk said they would refund the other two nights, and I asked for a proof letter. They gave me a receipt, but I never received the refund. When I followed up, the manager said they wouldn’t give the money back. It feels like they gave me a fake receipt just to avoid refunding me. I would NOT recommend staying here

Great Location and Service, But No AC as Advertise

The coffee shop and bike rental are very close by, with good restaurants nearby as well. The service was fast, friendly, and patient. The room was nice and came with a reasonably large smart TV. However, there was no air conditioning despite the listing on Hotels.com stating otherwise. Only fans were available. Alright, tolerable. This was an information error, and I’ve learned to double-check such details before booking but it’s all good on my end.

Affordable Comfortable and Close to everything

It was an excellent choice. Close to everything! It was comfortable for 4 adults in the quad room. Bathroom and Room are clean and updated. The desk staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Train goes nearby and there was a fridge and hair dryer. No air con but it was chilly there. There is a nice elevator.

This hotel requires you be able to walk up stairs even if you are on the first floor or use an elevator. There are no air conditioners but they do provide portable fans. Breakfast costs extra but it was well worth it. I would stay here again.

This was a very nice hotel. Location was perfect, just a 15 minute walk from the train station. The staff were very helpful. We had to pay a city tax when we arrived that was a surprise, I found it to be a little expensive. We did not take the breakfast but they have a coffee machine and water dispenser available 24/7.
