Beds were comfortable, room was clean, loved the pegs for hanging clothes. Barking dog across the hall, dark room/poor lighting. Harsh Bathroom lighted mirror which provided very little light, mostly glare to see the little bugs flying by. Breakfast was good, parking was easy. Road noise was as expected.
Expected more of Wyndham
The hotel is well located. At arrival all seemed well. I was assigned a hearing impaired room with an adjoining room. I was not in the room long when I noticed a drilled hole the diameter of a pencil above the lock in my door between the rooms. I opened the door and the hole was drilled through the door, as well as the adjoining door having a hole. These holes give occupants visual access to the bathroom and bed area of the room next door. I reported this to the front desk. The attendant responded with a total lack of concern or acknowledgement as to why this was a problem. She just stared at me. It was odd. I said wouldn't you feel uncomfortable staying in a room where someone had visual access to the room and in what could pose a potential safety threat given the right circumstances? Someone could even potentially unlock the other door. She had no comment other than to ask if I wanted another room. I was assigned 4 rooms, #213, 218, 220, and 210, in this order. Rooms 213 and 220 were both hearing impaired rooms adjoining the room next door. BOTH of these rooms had the same issue of concern, holes in adjoining doors. Rooms 218 and 210 were regular rooms but both of these rooms were musty with a heavy smell of someone who has not bathed in an extended period of time. I asked for a manager wanting to show them the four rooms. I was told there is no manager on duty. I checked out and am attempting to contact Wyndham about the safety concern re rooms 213 and 220.
I needed a price conscious one stay, in order to spend a day doing VA medical appointments.
The Microtel was perfect for me.
Thank you.
I will stay here again; and I will tell everyone about your hotel.
I've stayed here M-F for the last four weeks and it's always been good and the staff always been great. Only two complaints. One sometimes it takes 5 to 10 minutes to get hot water in the shower. Two on each day I have go get my room key redone because it doesn't work on my room.
The place was nice, seems to be remodeled. Beds were awful.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Do not stay here. There was a partially demolished/derelict building across the street. We heard hot rods cars all night long possibly street racing. All the noise outside made me feel unsafe like we were in a bad neighborhood. The initial overpowering smell of disinfectant upon arriving to the lobby should have alerted me but I was exhausted after driving all day.
This place may be new but they need to hire new staff to take care of it and provide customer service. Not allow sketchy people to hang around the hotel.
I hope that my review will help others in the future. I work in healthcare and would never treat my residents deal with any of this. When you pay for a service you expect cleanliness, safety and fell welcome.
