My only niggle (and it is a niggle) was that our room also had the upstairs fire escape door - which was not mentioned at all (ie, what to do in event of a fire and whether our bedroom was the fire escape access for all the rooms in our section).

Amazing stay! Comfortable bed, delicious food, friendly staff. Cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay here. Only one night but wish we could have stayed for more. What a find on our driving trip around Northumbria! Beautiful rooms in a small pub. The food in the pub was fantastic (so much so we ate there both nights of our stay) and the staff were just brilliant. The included breakfast was incredible! It was a great location for exploring the surrounding area like Alnwick and Bamburgh castles. Highly recommend it and we would definitely stay there again if travelling to that part of the UK.

We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was excellent with a spotless new bathroom and comfortable bed. Better pillows would have been nice but not a problem for a short stay. The food was very good but the service rather slow. We weren't in any hurry but 30-40 minutes to produce breakfast after ordering seemed a bit excessive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful so positive overall.

Percy Arms sits within a farming landscape clustered within a village of beautiful stone buildings. It's presence is solid and homely. The room was large and welcoming with beautiful linens and finish. The bath was vast and luxurious. Here was the only true King Sized bed I was treated to in the UK. Thanks for the comfort you've placed here for travelers like me! The care and attention you put into your property is unmistakable and appreciated!
